Horchata French Toast & Honey Fried Ham

Ingredients:
2 eggs
1/2 cup vanilla rice milk
horchata drink mix powder
sliced wheat bread

1/4" slices of smoked ham
honey

French Toast:
put eggs and milk into a shallow bowl that is big enough to lay/dip the slices of bread into. add horchata powder to eggs & milk. use as much as you would like, more for stronger flavor. one scoop or a couple heaping tablespoons of powder is a good start. combine powder, eggs and milk thouroughly. once combined, quickly dip bread into mixture on each side. don't let the mixture soak in too much. place immediately into griddle or pan on med-high heat. cook until browned and flip over and brown as well. this will make 4-6 slices of toast.

Honey Fried Ham:
on medium heat, put ham slices in skillet. top each piece of ham with a spoonful of honey. cover and let cook and ham heat thouroughly. when about ready to serve, turn up heat and remove lid. brown ham on both sides. becareful, hot honey may splatter. also beware that as the honey starts to brown, it will burn fast, so keep an eye on it!

Variations:
instead of horchata powder, feel free to use any of your other favorite powder mix that you'd add to milk. for instance: chocolate milk powder, horchata mix, green tea powder, malted milk powder, etc
